I’m Matteo Botta, a 17 years old young photographer based in Lugano, Switzerland. I mainly shoot Aerial and Landscape photos. I’m currently studying in the 3rd year of high school. I fell in love with photography when my parents decided to buy me a small Canon camera when I was 5 and from then on I always took photos of everything, but eventually I found my way with nature photography.
At the age of 14 I decided to take a big leap into my passion and bought a DJI Mini 2. From that time on I always flew to capture the beautiful nature surrounding us. Some months after starting, I took an award winning image and in that moment I realized that I could have potential, so I started to work on this passion harder than ever. A year later I got a Canon but my main focus remained in Aerial Photography. I don’t take a lot of photos but when I do, I visualize the image before I capture it and I try to create great images that convey feelings to the viewer.
